[PT] Cânticos lúgubres, de dor simulada, envolvem as ruas da cidade que, desde o século IV, recria anualmente os últimos momentos da vida de Cristo. As celebrações pascais da Semana Santa, em Braga, atraem à cidade turistas e peregrinos, vindos maioritariamente de todo o país e da Galiza. As procissões nocturnas representam o ponto alto das celebrações, pelas centenas de figurantes que nelas participam, habitantes das zonas históricas da cidade, que em ritmo lento desfilam vaidade e redenção.

Easter Holy Week celebrations, in Braga, attract tourists and pilgrims to the city, mostly coming from all over the country and from Galicia. The nocturnal processions represent the high point of the celebration, with hundreds of extras who participate, inhabitants of the historical areas of the city that in slow rhythm parade vanity and redemption.
